Gold Coast retiree snares $2m with 30-year-old numbers

Simon Askham

A GOLD Coast retiree has won $2 million in lotto.

The man picked up the loot in the Saturday Gold Lotto draw at the weekend.

He said he's been playing Gold Lotto for 30 years with the same numbers.

"It's just been out of sight. We're full of joy," he said.

The man says he know exactly what to do with some of the money.

"I'll be buying a home for my wife as we've been renting for some time. I want to buy her the home of her

dreams," he smiled.

The winning entry was purchased from Paradise Point News, Shop 1 at 11 Grice Avenue in Paradise

Point.

The winning numbers were 10, 26, 35, 32, 25 and 27 with the supplementary numbers 12 and 16.

If you want to try your luck, there's $50 million on offer in Oz Lotto on Tuesday.
