Chance for Kings to reign again

TWEED Valley Kings can jump from the bottom of the Gold Coast Soccer premier league ladder with a win over Surfers Paradise tomorrow.

The Kings are in desperate need of another win after their breakthrough a fortnight ago against Musgrave.

A match against Surfers, ranked second-last, in front of a home crowd at Kingscliff from 4pm is a golden opportunity to get off the bottom of the table.

Meanwhile, in Gold Coast Soccer first division, the Tweed Heads Kangaroos can lift themselves from a mid-table log-jam with a win over United Eagles at Arkinstall park from 3pm. It will be a tough clash, according to coach Roger Hoy.

“We are leading into a difficult part of the season, Eagles this week and Merrimac next week,” he said.

Kingscliff have an away game against Mudgeeraba this weekend.
