Government backs passion, craft and talent with grants

YOUNG people have the opportunity to pursue their passion, craft or talent with some financial backing from the Federal Government.

The Government's $8 million Creative Young Stars Program will allow applicants under 25 to apply for a share of $23,500 to help fund creative, cultural, academic and community activities.

The program will deliver grants of $500 to individuals and $3000 to groups of six or more in Richmond

In Round one of the grants, the program will deliver grants to 12 individuals and two groups in the Richmond electorate.
