Guess which toy made Hall of Fame?

THE humble paper aeroplane has finally been recognised.

The simple-to-create toy has been inducted into the National Toy Hall of Fame joining previous inductees the dollhouse, the jump rope and the Sims computer game.

The paper plane was joined by two others "the board game Clue and the Wiffle Ball" at a ceremony at the hall in Rochester, New York State.

The winners are chosen on the advice of historians and educators following nominations from the public.

To make the hall of fame, which is located in the Strong Museum, toys must have inspired creative play across generations.

Other playtime staples such as sand, and the card game Uno also made the finals.

Joining them were the board game Risk, Magic 8 Ball, Matchbox cars, My Little Pony, PEZ candy dispenser, play food, sand, Transformers.
