Gunman takes his own life after killing man in Sydney

A MAN died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Sydney yesterday, hours after shooting dead one man and injuring two others.

Police were called to an industrial unit at Heald Rd, Ingleburn about 10.45am after reports of gunfire.

Two men were taken to hospital for treatment for gunshot wounds and tactical police team established a perimeter around the building.

Three people had emerged from the building and been placed in a police vehicle before the gunman's death, the ABC reported.

Police did not believe the shooting was terrorism related.

Witnesses reported hearing five gunshots.
