Helping hand for early school leavers

NORTEC Youth Services will hold a “links to learning” course in Murwillumbah from next Wednesday to help those who have left school early and are struggling.

The free course, which is suitable for people aged 15 to 24, will run for nine weeks.

It's designed to help young people move into the workforce or on to further study.

The upcoming course will focus on theatre production, film, media, music and art.

It's funded by the New South Wales government and transport can be arranged.

The program uses creative, outdoor and recreational activities, with certificate-level training, and offers career direction and support.

To book your spot or for more information, contact NORTEC on (02) 6672 8001 or email glenn.keir@nortecltd.com.au.
