Here's a taste of what's to come in Hey Mumma

THE final countdown has begun - just a few days until Hey Mumma launches and becomes your favourite new section online.

Hey Mumma is Australian Regional Media's latest series where we bring you four everyday modern mums - with host Susie O'Neill - and tackle the parenting issues that every parent knows well. We'll have weekly webisodes, behind the scenes footage and stacks of useful content uploaded daily.

In week one we look at technology and kids - how much screen time is too much? When is it okay to turn off the Wi-Fi and get the kids back to basics? And what are the best ways to use technology to your advantage?

In week two, we reignite the age-old debate: to smack, or not to smack. We explore the heart-wrenching truths with our mums about discipline and punishments, as well as how best to reward your children.

In week three, we delve into health and nutrition. What does your weekly grocery shop look like? Where can you improve the health and wellbeing of your family this time of year and how many 'treats' are too many?

Week four takes us to the office. We look at life as a working mum - how do you find the balance? How do you handle the added pressures? And where do you start when looking for childcare?

The week later we spark another fiery debate - public versus private schooling, which is better? Hear the fors and againsts from our Mummas and get the real facts from our education expert.

And in the final week, we look at the somewhat mythical me-time. With such hectic schedules, busy mums often forget to make time for themselves. But how important is me-time for your mental and physical health? Pretty damn important it seems!

Don't miss a beat of our Hey Mumma series, launching Monday June 6. Like our Facebook page for daily updates and to be part of our ever-growing mumosphere.

We can't wait for you to meet our Mummas!
