Heroes get in on the action

SUPERMAN is flying in to Jack Evans Harbour on November 3. He will be joined by The Incredibles, Wonder Woman, Batman and a host of other super heroes.

Does that sound too out of this world? It's a chance for anyone and everyone to be a super hero for the day when families in the Tweed region and southern Gold Coast are invited to support local non-profit organisation, The Family Centre.

"Everyone at The Family Centre is very excited about Superhero Saturday and we're hoping local families will join us for the orienteering style event where they can participate in a fun and exciting combination of treasure hunt, obstacle course and physical challenges," said the centre's executive director David Boutkan.

"You can come dressed as your favourite superhero if you like and there'll be prizes for best dressed child, adult and family group.

"Participants can register in teams of two or four for just $10 a person
