Heroes of all ages converge on Jack Evans Boat Harbour

IF YOU thought you were dreaming on Saturday when Superman, Wonder Woman and Spider Man appeared at Jack Evans Boat Harbour, you weren't.

Nor had you lost your marbles.

If you had, there were plenty of super heroes arouind to help you find them.

Tweed Heads' Family Centre held its first annual Superhero Saturday.

The great day of fun and games was officially opened by Tweed mayor Barry Longland.

"A great day was had by all," said manager of community projects Colleen Dowd.

There were many great prizes won on the day, including a major prizes of three days on the Sunshine Coast and a family pass to Australia Zoo.

"There is still a big prize up for grabs for the biggest fundraising famil," Ms Dowd said.

A lucky family will win a Ballina Byron weekend adventure staying in a family suite at the Ramada including activities.
