From hip hop to ballet, it's time to dance in Mur'bah

THE dance program of Murwillumbah Festival of Performing Arts started this weekend with a high standard of competition and large crowds.

"I'm excited," secretary dance convener Jenny Unwin said.

"The competitors have been very good and the volunteers have worked very hard over the event," she said.

Some of the events on the program this week include contemporary dance group, jazz, hip hop, musical theatre/cabaret group and classical ballet.

The dance group will continue till the end of the festival on July 11.
