Hollywood’s The Rock gets his pump on at a Gold Coast gym
HOLLYWOOD hulk Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is living it up and working out on the Gold Coast.
After flying in from Dubai on Monday, The Rock popped straight over to World Gym Ashmore for a 90-minute work-out according to a News Limited report.
Johnson is on the coast for three months filming new movie San Andreas, which has a budget of more than $100 million.
In the movie he plays a helicopter pilot trying to rescue his daughter after an earthquake.
He said the Gold Coast felt like home as it was similar to Hawaii.
"I was raised in Hawaii and there's a lot of similarities here to that Polynesian culture," he said.
Johnson rose to fame as a pro-wrestler and has starred in movies such as Walking Tall, The Other Guys and Scorpion King.
Officially he's 196cm (6'5") and 120kg.
