BCF to open at Tweed Heads

TWEED adventurers will have access to a range of products when BCF – Boating, Camping and Fishing – opens on June 26.

BCF Tweed Heads store manager Matt Home said there was no better home for BCF than Tweed.

“Local outdoor enthusiasts can grab their supplies to enjoy some fishing off Cabarita, D’bah or the Tweed, go hiking up Mt Warning, or grab some binoculars for some sightseeing along the beautiful waterways of the Tweed,” Mr Home said.

“If you are looking to hook yourself a bream or flathead on the Tweed River, BCF can provide you with the right equipment and advice to give you that edge.

“Of course, with the abundance of beachside campsites as you head down south make sure you stop by and stock up on plenty of warm camping gear as we enter into the colder months.”

BCF chief operating officer Steve Doyle said the popularity of the outdoors and beachside lifestyle with Tweed locals made it a clear choice for a BCF location at Tweed Heads.

“The Tweed Heads region is a hub of beautiful hinterland rainforests, surf beaches and an incredibly diverse river system, being a popular year-round holiday destination for the 1.4 million people who visit the region,” Mr Doyle said.

“Plus, if it’s good enough for legends like Mick Fanning to hang out, then it must be world-best living.”
