Illy and hip-hop heavyweights can't wait to perform at Cooly

AUSTRALIAN hip-hop heavyweights Illy, M-Phazes and Spit Syndicate will hit Coolangatta Hotel on December 29.

Leading the tour is Illy with his signature basslines and old school style straight out of the '90s.

Illy said he couldn't wait for the Coolangatta show.

"I'm looking forward to it a lot," he said.

The last time we played there we had a huge turnout, so hopefully it will be on a similar vibe."

Spit Syndicate and M-Phazes will be on support duties with their own unique style and lyrical progression.

Previously appearing at Sprung Hip Hop Festival in Brisbane, the trio of acts know how to get a crowd jumping and their show at Coolangatta promises much of the same.

Illy recently released his newest album Bring it Back, featuring the hit track Heard it All, which won Triple J's Pick of the Week.
