In Pole position for Hopman Cup finals glory

A VICTORY against France this morning will guarantee Poland a place in tomorrow's Hopman Cup final.

The pairing of Agnieszka Radwanska and Jerzy Janowicz downed Australia 3-0 in the opening round, before proving too strong for Great Britain's Andy Murray and Heather Watson, edging to a 2-1 victory in the second round.

France, represented by world No.18 Alize Cornet and Benoit Paire, was beaten 2-1 by Great Britain before downing Australia 2-1 on Wednesday night.

It would need a 3-0 clean sweep of the Poles to make it through to the final. Australia will have one last chance to open its account when it takes on Great Britain in the final round robin match tonight.

Casey Dellacqua (pictured) is yet to win a match in the tournament, and will fancy her chances against Watson, while Marinko Matosevic will take on the unbeaten Andy Murray.
