Injured woman rescued from Mount Warning

A WOMAN was rescued from Mount Warning at the weekend. 

About 4pm Saturday, the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter was tasked to rescue the 27-year-old from the mountain. 

She had suffered a suspected ankle fracture. 

After being winched from the walking track, she was transported to Lismore Base Hospital.
