The internet reacts to The Lego Movie Oscars snub

THE internet has reacted to The Lego Movie's Oscars snub with a good dose of cheeky humour.

The box office hit was assumed to be a shoe-in for the Best Animated Feature Film category, but only earned a nomination for Best Original Song for the catchy theme Everything Is Awesome.

Director Philip Lord took to Twitter to joke about making his own Academy Award:
