Internship a little beauty
GOLD Coast Training Academy Burleigh Heads graduate Bronwyn Robertson is set to live the beautiful life.
The talented beauty therapist will be jetting off to Cambodia to start her career with Amanresorts after being awarded the coveted Valedictorian title at her graduation ceremony this month.
Miss Robertson could not hide her delight at winning the all-expenses internship with Amansara Spa for her outstanding achievements in the Diploma of Beauty
Therapy.
“I was shocked when I heard my name, it was just overwhelming but it is the opportunity of a lifetime,” Miss Robertson said.
“I had always thought about working overseas if the opportunity presented itself. I am a bit nervous about working in another country but mostly I am just looking forward to the challenge.
“I've always been interested in beauty therapy and doing the diploma through the training academy was a way to progress that. My aspiration is to go on to management, training and education.”
A spokeswoman from the Gold Coast Training Academy said Amanresorts have been recognised for their world-class destination spas with guests paying up to US$2000 per night for accommodation.
Miss Robertson will commence her three-month internship in October which includes her return flight to Cambodia, beautiful accommodation and all her meals.
