New Europe tours for 2012

GLOBUS has unveiled its 2012 season of European holidays, introducing 10 new unforgettable tours and a choice of airfare deals and earlybird discounts.

Covering the length and breadth of the continent - plus highlights of North Africa and the Middle East - the new Globus Europe & Britain 2012 brochure offers more than 70 planned itineraries.

New tours in the 2012 brochure include the 15-day Best of Turkey with a six-night Greek cruise. Priced from $2939* per person twin share, it combines the colour and life of Istanbul with ancient sites including Troy and Ephesus before boarding a cruise to Athens via the spectacular Greek islands of Mykonos, Rhodes, Santorini and Crete.

Other new additions include the eight-day European Highlights, travelling from London to Rome via Paris, the Swiss Alps, Milan, Venice and Florence. Priced from $2099* per person twin share, it combines some of Europe's best-known landmarks and most spectacular scenery in a single itinerary.

Or for Francophiles, Globus has introduced an eight-day French Sampler priced from $2069* per person twin share. It begins with the sights of Paris before heading south through Burgundy and Provence to Dijon, Avignon, Nîmes, Aix-en-Provence and Nice.

Other features in the new brochure include an expanded choice of Monograms city getaways and independent itineraries.

Combining the freedom of independent travel with the ease of a pre-arranged itinerary, they offer an ideal way to explore cities like London, Dublin, Paris and Rome.

To mark the program's release, Globus is offering earlybird savings of 10% for tours booked and paid for 12 months in advance.

Plus, travellers can save $300 per couple when they combine any Globus Europe tour with an Emirates earlybird airfare.

Return economy flights are available from $1630* per person to Rome or Dublin from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, or from $1570* from Perth and from $1730* from Adelaide.

*Prices subject to availability and conditions. Airfares valid for sale until November 30, 2011.  For full details and conditions see travel agents or visit Globus.
