Festival quenches artistic thirst

Bleach Surfing the Fringe Festival made its eagerly-awaited debut hand-in-hand with stunning sunshine and symbolically strong swells on the weekend.
Bleach Street took over Tomewin St Currumbin outside Surf World Gold Coast museum from 11am-6pm (Qld) Saturday.
Children so unexpectedly inundated the museum's Surfer and The Mermaid shows, many had to be turned away.
Bleach On The Rocks Projections lit up Elephant Rock Currumbin on Saturday night for a large and appreciative audience, though storm clouds rolled through and disrupted the Sunday event.
