Is Jamie Oliver done and dusted?

HE has notched up 18 years on telly and cranked out more than 30 cookery shows to become one of our most popular chefs.

But despite creating a multi-million-pound fortune, Jamie Oliver could be about to throw in the tea towel, reports The Sun.

The Channel 4 star has admitted he is looking at ­retiring to spend more time with his ever-growing brood of children.

He said: "I have not told anyone this in the public domain.

"I am 42 now, I have got five kids and I am sort of actually looking at my days.

"I try to be a good dad. I could retire. So I am kind of going, 'Well, why do I not take my boy to school every day?'

 

Oliver and wife Jools's ­eccentrically named family, inset, now includes Petal ­Blossom, Buddy Bear, Daisy Boo, Poppy Honey and baby son River Rocket, who arrived in August last year.

And despite coming across as professional and well prepared on screen, Oliver reveals it is chaos behind the scenes.

 

He added: "The public see Jamie jazz hands. But behind the scenes my office is like a mini Disney."

With a family that size, he's well on his way to having his own ­version of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs ...
