WHILE Justin Bieber fans, better known as Beliebers, were staking out Sydney hotels for a glimpse of the pop star yesterday, he was performing a secret show at Fox Studios.

The Baby hit maker sang acoustic versions of six songs from his album Believe for a lucky audience of 350 fans.

The location of the top-secret gig was kept from fans and media, who were taken to the venue by bus, in an attempt to avoid a repeat of the cancellation of Bieber's 2010 concert for Channel 7 brekkie show Sunrise.

Excited Beliebers sang along to every word, screaming out when Bieber asked if anyone wanted to be "my baby".

The singer also confirmed his Believe tour would be coming to Australia.

Local celebrities in attendance included Timomatic, Dancing With The Stars winner Johnny Ruffo and The Voice finalist Sarah De Bono.

The performance will air on Channel V on Friday, at 7.30pm.

Bieber's performance on Sunrise went smoothly this morning, with the pop star rewarding fans by playing songs through the commercial breaks.

He will also perform on the Australia's Got Talent grand final tonight at 7.30pm on Seven.
