KATE Campbell upset the apple cart on her way out of Australian Survivor tonight.

Once the financial analyst and yoga lover realised she was going to be eliminated she dropped a few bombshells in the hopes of ousting the reality show's 'puppet masters'.

"I definitely opened a huge can of worms... I feel like I left with a bang," she told APN.

"I called out Nick big time saying he couldn't be trusted, and that was the reason Vavau voted him out in the first place, and that there were puppet masters controlling everyone and they needed to be dealt with."

The 28-year-old hopes her parting words were a wake-up call for Jennah-Louise, Lee and Sam, with whom she tried to form a 'nice guys' alliance after the contestants merged into one tribe last night.

"I could tell they were very ignorant at the vote and they seemed too scared to break away from the majority," Ms Campbell said.

"I wish I could have been a fly on the wall to see what happened when they all went back to camp.

"I really want Sam and Lee to go through to the end. They're both genuine people and I hope they've both woken up to how to play the game."

Ms Campbell said she struggled to eat rich foods at home after her simple Survivor diet of fruit and rice.

"I'm a bit of a foodie and I really missed my expensive cheese and a nice glass of red wine," she said.

"But when I got home I tasted a glass of red wine and it tasted like battery acid. My taste buds were all over the place. I tried to have some cheese and it was too rich, my stomach couldn't handle it."

During her time on the show, a video of Ms Campbell getting a boil treated by a medic went viral. But she was also regarded as a mentally tough contestant having recovered  against the odds from injuries suffered in a boating accident.

"I don't think I could compare this experience to any other. Survivor incorporates the physical, the mental, the emotional and even spiritual; it challenges you on all of those levels," she said.

"There are a lot of Survivor super fans on the show. I'd watched a few seasons but I was more in it for the challenge of seeing if I could do it."
