Kids are learning that hockey is fun

WITH both junior and senior hockey seasons not that far away from starting, the Tweed Border Hockey Association will take part in the Get into Hockey sign-on campaign in early February along with other clubs across Queensland.

Focusing on fun, the sign-on drive will take place on Sunday, February 2 from 10am at the Barrie Smith Hockey Centre on Brisbane St in Murwillumbah.

The award-winning campaign will assist to bolster the profile of the sport across Queensland, as well as boost participation numbers through initiatives including a state-wide television advertisement starring Olympic hockey gold medallist Nikki Hudson, as well as other media advertising promoting the specific details of the various district sign-on opportunities across the state.
