Kids go crazy for cross-country

STUDENTS at the Banora Point Primary School took to the hilly surrounds of the school at the end of last month to compete in their term one cross-country races.

On a perfect hot and sunny day, (a thing of the past given the recent conditions) the students showed plenty of enthusiasm and stamina as they ran hard around the outdoor circuit, competing in good spirit and producing some good performances.

Thanks to some excellent organisation by Banora Point Primary's sports co-ordinator, Hilary Dance-Wilson, all the students found their way around the course with all of the participants having plenty of fun and giving supporters plenty to cheer about.

The age champions of the Cross Country day are shown below. Congratulations to the winners and to all participants.
