Kielvale is about to grow
NEARLY eight hectares of land at Kielvale, near Murwillumbah, which was zoned for housing after a long local controversy, is up for sale.
The property, which overlooks farmland and is zoned for an expansion of the Kielvale village, is on the market for $2.3 million.
The sprawling north-facing 7.9 hectare land parcel, five minutes from the Murwillumbah town centre, is zoned Village 2D, which enables a future residential land subdivision.
“Rarely does a land parcel in this location with such close proximity to major amenities and the Gold Coast Airport come onto the market,” said DJ Stringer commercial property agent Craig Parsons.
Mr Parsons said the site was located just two kilometres from the Pacific Highway.
“It's an ideal opportunity for an astute developer and will suit a small subdivision project,” he said.
“Now is the time to capitalise on the growing popularity of bush living, while being so close to the beautiful beaches of northern NSW and the Gold Coast.”
DJ Stringer Property Services principal David Stringer said the site offered a rare opportunity in a popular location that would experience strong future capital growth.
“With limited new land stock zoned for future residential development across the Tweed, this is the perfect opportunity to invest while the market is still affordable ... and develop the site once the market grows over the next few years,” he said.
