Last chance to be a rally volunteer

RALLY enthusiasts keen to be part of Repco Rally Australia have until next week to sign up for one of the remaining volunteer positions

Volunteering is a rare and exciting opportunity for members of the community to be involved in the running of a major world sporting event.

According to organisers of the event few people would get closer to the rally action than the volunteers.

“Repco Rally Australia has opportunities in the areas of stage security, service park officials, environmental guardians and spectator services,” a spokesman said.

Volunteers must be over 16 years of age and available for at least two days of the three-day event.

Registration closes next Monday, August 17, at 5pm.

Interested people should register on-line at www.rallyaustralia.com/officials or by phoning the Rally Australia office on (02) 6676 7025.
