The Lightning Bolt loses first major 100m race since 2010

OLYMPIC champion Usain Bolt has suffered his first 100m defeat in a Diamond League meeting since 2010.

The Jamaican finished second behind American Justin Gatlin in Rome yesterday.

Gatlin, who has twice tested positive for drugs and served a four-year ban, won in 9.94 seconds, with Bolt a hundredth of a second behind.
