Lindt Cafe gunman's wife to have bail reviewed

THE Lindt Café gunman's wife will have her bail reviewed at Sydney court house today.

Amirah Droudis, Man Haron Monis's wife, has been on bail since she was charged with the murder of Monis's ex-wife.

Monis's first wife Noleen Hayson Pal was stabbed 18 times and set alight. Monis had been charged as an accessory before and after the fact.

NSW attorney-general Brad Hazzard last week ordered her bail be reviewed following concerns about why Monis had been granted.

"In this case the allegation is that he and she had involvement in the murder of Monis' ex-wife and on behalf of our community I want to know whether every aspect of her being on bail has been examined in all possible detail," he said.

Monis was killed in a shootout with police after the 16 hour siege in Sydney's Martin Place on Monday and Tuesday.

If the court overturns its original this morning Ms Droudis could be returned to custody.

Ms Droudis was convicted of helping Monis send offensive letters to widows and families of Australian soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
