Lisa takes prize for dress taste

LOGIES looks were on the lips of every Australian fashionista yesterday.

A sea of white silhouettes adorned the red carpet with small-screen beauties opting for a simplistic beauty approach.

While the official awards are done and dusted for another year there are still a few accolades I would like to hand out to some of Sunday night's attendees.

And the award winners are ...

The I Legitimately Deserve To Be On The Best-Dressed List award goes to Lisa McCune. The Sea Patrol star and Logies veteran brought some glitz to the red carpet with a beautifully fitted sequined dress. Ms McCune often lands in the best-dressed list but this is the first time she deserved to be there.

The I Narrowly Avoided Looking Like A Wedding Cake Topper honour goes to Packed to the Rafters star Jessica Marais. The 1920s-inspired J'Aton creation allowed the starlet to triumph over her fellow white wearers with a modern and elegant twist.

The I Won And I Looked Good Doing It award goes to Most Popular Actress winner Asher Keddie, also outfitted in J'Aton. The boudoir-style gown was a hit with critics and fans alike.

The Biggest Mistake accolade goes to Michelle Bridges. After years of tormenting contestants on national television it's only fitting that gruelling physical torture should be bestowed upon her for this monstrosity.

The I Thought Saloon Girl Chic Was In This Year award will be accepted by Catriona Rowntree. The black lace over hot pink confection should have stayed in the wild west.

The Bindie Irwin Meets Barbie Jungle Woman prize goes to Laura Dundovic. A cheerleader high ponytail and cut-out leopard print dress does not a red carpet outfit make.

Laura needs to hop in her Malibu dream car and hightail it away from the red carpet.
