Local talent on show at surf comp party

COOLANGATTA Sands is set to showcase local talent and entertain Quiksilver Pro crowds with their Wedge Head Wannabez Quiky Pro Party on Friday March 7 from 6pm.

The party will feature local musical talents KADA, Tropical Zombie, Tre Hombres and the Single Fins.

It won't be all about music and art, however; a surf movie will be played on the night, along with a skate demo in Coolangatta Sand's new Spot X outdoor area.

A Taphouse spokeswoman said the mixed-theme night of music, modern art, skate and surf history is set to fit perfectly with Quiksilver Pro activities.

"By bringing together the surfers and skaters, art lovers and people that just want to let loose and party along, the atmosphere will blow your mind," she said.
