Missing boy contacts family
THE search for a missing boy ended well yesterday after he contacted his family hours after police issued a missing- person alert.
The 16-year-old boy from Bonogin was reported missing yesterday morning, but contacted his family only a few hours after police released his name and image to the media.
Queensland police held grave fears for the boy who was last seen by his family in Tolga Rd, Bonogin, around 7.45am on Tuesday.
Police believed his last known journey was by public transport to Mt Gravatt Central on Wednesday afternoon, but he had not been in contact with family or friends until yesterday afternoon.
The family was not available for comment yesterday.
