Loveridge to remain behind bars

KIERAN Loveridge will remain behind bars over the Kings Cross bashing death of NSW teenager Thomas Kelly until at least September.

The 18-year-old appeared via video link from Sydney's Silverwater Jail during Wednesday's court proceedings.

His lawyer made no application for bail.

He was remanded in custody until September 20 when his case will be heard for the first time.

My Loveridge is accused of king hitting Thomas, who later died from his injuries, in Kings Cross earlier this month.

He was arrested at the Belmore sports grounds last week and charged with murder.
