Mackay teen airlifted after Queensland Moto Park crash

A MACKAY teen has been airlifted after crashing his bike at the Queensland Moto Park in Boonah.

An RACQ CareFlight Rescue spokesperson said the  17-year-old was discovered by the park's staff beside his bike, disoriented and confused. 

"His helmet had sustained numerous scratches and the teen was suffering cuts and abrasions.  He was unable to tell park staff what had happened," the spokesperson said.

"RACQ CareFlight's Gold Coast medical crew assessed the teen and airlifted him to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further observation and treatment. 

"He was in a stable condition."
