Maintenance on Tugun Bypass but no delays expected

GENERAL maintenance on the Tugun Bypass isn't expected to cause delays on Thursday and Friday.

A Queensland Transport and Main Roads spokesman said the works would involve vegetation maintenance and rubbish pick-up.

He said the works would run overnight, avoiding any disruption to peak-hour traffic.

It's understood only one lane will be closed at a time.

The works will begin at 9pm DST on Thursday, expected to finish by 5am, Friday.
