Great Whites devour Makos

THE Great White Sharks devoured the Mako Sharks at Tweed Softball on Saturday.

The great white is king of the ocean and the softball team proved it was the king of the ladies division, accounting for the Makos 29-6.

In the other ladies game, Koalas dominated the Effy Sharks 25-5.

In the under-15 age group, Sharks 21 defeated Pirates 0 and Koalas 18 defeated Pirates 5.

Teeball was played between Lindisfarne and Sharks. No results are recorded but all the children had a great time.

Pirates forfeited both men’s games due to representative commitments.
