Missing Murwillumbah man found safe and well

UPDATE - 8.58am Friday, September 25:

A MAN reported missing from Murwillumbah has been found safe and well.

Tweed/Byron LAC Inspector Mick Dempsey said John Willett, 43, was located on Thursday. 

Mr Willett was one of two people police appealed to locate in the Northern Rivers in the last two weeks. 

It's understood Lismore Woman Ellen Wilson, 54, is still missing.

Initial report - 8.25am Thursday, September 24:

POLICE have appealed for help to find a man missing from Murwillumbah.

John Willett, 43, was last seen about noon on Monday.

He has not been seen or heard from since then.

Police are investigating Mr Willett's disappearance, but have not been able to locate him.

His dark green Holden Rodeo utility, with NSW registration CD06XB, is also missing.

Mr Willett is described as having a caucasian appearance, between 185 and 190cm tall with a thin build, brown hair and brown eyes.
