Man arrested for intimidation and threats against mother

A BRUNSWICK Heads man has been arrested for intimidation of his mother.

Police said that during Saturday morning a 46-year-old man from Brunswick Heads allegedly made a number of threats and intimidated his 70-year-old mother.

The matter was reported to police on Saturday evening.

As a result police from Mullumbimby and Byron Bay, as well as dog unit, attended an address in Brunswick Heads where the man was taken into custody without incident.

The man appeared at Tweed Heads Local Court on Sunday where he was granted conditional bail to appear at the Byron Bay Local Court on March 10.
