Man arrested for threatening witness
A MAN with alleged links to the Hells Angels bikie gang has been accused of threatening a witness to a shooting at a western Sydney hotel last month.
The 23-year-old was arrested by Gangs Squad detectives on Tuesday night following a search of his Westmead home.
He was charged with threatening a witness with intent to influence and will front court on September 4.
Police will allege the man attempted to intimidate a witness to a shooting involving Hells Angels members at a Parramatta Hotel on July 13.
The arrest was made by detectives from Strike Force Kinarra, which was set up earlier this year to investigate a string of shootings linked to the feud between the Hells Angels and Nomads bikie gangs
