Man beaten for his pizza posts pictures online
A MAN was left severely battered and bruised after he was attacked on his way home from a takeaway.
Mark Sinclair said he was kicked in the face and the neck multiple times during an assault near his home in Stenhousemuir, Scotland.
Mr Sinclair told The Daily Record he had visited the pub with his friend before stopping for a pizza at about 11pm on Wednesday. As he walked home, he was approached by a man.
Mark said: "He said, 'Gimme a bit of your pizza', then started laying into me.
"As far as I'm aware it was only one guy but I got a bit groggy, so there could have been someone else."
The attack left him with nerve damage in the back of his eye, severe bruising and torn ligaments in his knee.
On his Facebook page, Mr Sinclair said he was posting a photo of his injuries in the hope someone will come forward with information on the attack.
He wrote: "Share this if you can, the more people who are aware then the more likely someone will come forward."
The image has already been shared over 2,200 times.
Police Scotland is looking for two unidentified men in connection with the incident. One of the men is described as white, around 5ft 10 tall and aged between 21 and 40.
Inspector John Kellett said: "This was an unprovoked attack on man who was on his way home and not causing any disturbance to the public.
"We are eager to talk to anyone who may have witnessed this attack or may recognise the description offered.
