Man charged with assault at government building

A MAN will face charges of assault and intimidation in court in November after an altercation in Murwillumbah last month.

A NSW Police spokeswoman said a 58-year-old man was issued with a notice to appear in court in relation to the charges after an incident involving a woman, which occurred between 8 and 9pm at a government building on Tumbulgum Rd on September 17.

The man is due to appear before Murwillumbah Local Court on November 24.
