Man charged with filming boy in Banora public toilet

A MAN has been charged after attempting to film a child in a toilet at Banora Point.

The man, 20, from Elanora, will face court on May 19.

Police allege on Saturday, a seven-year-old boy told police someone had tried to film him using a public toilet at a Banora recreation facility.

Officers investigated and secured a warrant for the man's house, where they seized a tablet computer which will be forensically examined.

A police statement said the man had been charged with filming a person's private parts in circumstances of aggravation.

The man was granted strict conditional bail until his court appearance.
