Man dies after truck explodes at Yatala plant

A MAN  has died after an explosion and fire at an oil reclaiming business premises at Yatala.

Around 8.15am on Thursday a truck was dumping a load of material near an open air container when a fire ignited at the Sandy Creek Road premises.

Emergency services attended the scene and the fire has since been extinguished.

The man died at the scene as a result of injuries suffered from the fire.

Workplace Health and Safety will investigate the incident.

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
