Two dead after motorbike crash

UPDATE: POLICE have confirmed a second man injured in a crash at Molendinar has died in hospital as a result of injuries.

5.25pm: POLICE are at the scene of a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred at Molendinar about 3.15pm.

Preliminary information suggests a motorcycle was travelling east on Enterprise St when it collided with a car, spinning the motorcycle into a nearby parked vehicle.

The motorcycle rider had a pillion passenger. Both men were critically injured. One man died at the scene and the other has been transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No one in the car was injured.

Officers from the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
