
Man hospitalised after quad bike crash
A MAN was airlifted to hospital after a quad bike crash at Chillingham on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a farm on Numinbah Rd about 1.30pm (NSW), after the all-terrain vehicle rolled over and landed on the male driver’s leg.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said the 37-year-old was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with suspected leg fractures.
Tweed-Byron LAC Inspector Gary Cowan said there was a passenger, who was uninjured.
