Firearm charges laid in Rocky drug lab investigation

12.30pm: A DRUG lab was discovered in a North Rockhampton home yesterday afternoon, with chemicals and apparatus located in the clandestine laboratory.

A tip-off from the public sparked a police investigation which led to a search warrant being issued for a home in High Street, Berserker.

Detective Sergeant Steve Paskin, with the Rockhampton CIB, said the items will be transported to Brisbane for analysis.

"Police are continuing to investigate the laboratory and at this stage have not questioned anybody," he said.
