Man injured at Quiksilver Pro, spinal injuries suspected

A MAN has suffered suspected spinal injures after he fell at Snapper Rocks today.

The spectator was watching the Quiksilver Pro when he fell on rocks. 

"We're not sure about the extent of the injuries at this moment," A Care Flight spokeswoman said.

"The crew should be touching down in Brisbane about now."

The 52-year-old man was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
