Man stabbed in Currumbin suburbia

A 20-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed on a suburban street in Currumbin this morning.

The man was with two other men on the intersection of Mitchell Ave and Westview Rd about 5am when a woman approached and stabbed him with a sharp object. 

Police believe he was stabbed in the right shoulder with scissors.

The man was taken to Tweed Hospital for treatment to a non-life threatening injury as a result of the incident.

Police are questioning a 30-year-old woman as part of its investigation.
