Man threatened in armed home invasion

DETECTIVES are investigating a home invasion in Broadbeach Waters where a resident was threatened with a shot gun just before midday.

A 44-year-old man told police he answered a knock at his door to find the gunman and another man armed with a wooden baton demanding money.

The man fled to a neighbouring house were police were called.

He was not physically harmed during the incident.

Descriptions of the offenders are yet to be released.

Investigations are continuing.
