WATCH: Matt Damon teases Emmys 'loser' Jimmy Kimmel

HE WASN'T nominated for an award at today's Emmys but actor Matt Damon showed up anyway to heckle host Jimmy Kimmel.

The Jason Bourne star took part in a bit labeling Kimmel a 'big loser' for missing out on the Outstanding Variety Talk Series award to Last Week Tonight host John Oliver.

Damon, who casually took bites out of an apple as he laid into his 'nemesis' Kimmel, even had veteran comedians Chris Rock and Jerry Seinfeld in stitches.

The taunt was the latest installment of the two celebrities' fake 11-year feud, which started as a joke on Jimmy Kimmel Live after Damon was bumped from the show and has evolved into ever more elaborate segments.

Since the awards show wrapped up just over an hour ago, Kimmel has been praised on social media for being a cheeky and easygoing Emmys host.

In his opening monologue he jokingly vowed to "make the Emmys great again", but jokes aside it appears Kimmel has done just that after Andy Samberg received mixed reviews last year.
