Shooter at home on the range
MURWILLUMBAH Rifle Club member Alan Cronk turned in an outstanding performance to win a three-range event at the Border Championships at Goondiwindi last weekend.
Against a quality field of more than 60 competitors, Cronk prevailed in a close contest to win the Sunday aggregate event held over 300, 500 and 600 metre ranges.
He was one of two shooters in fine weather and a testing breeze to score a possible with his 30 shots.

The pair then went head-to-head in a shoot-out which went in Cronk's favour with a string of centre bulls.
